Baby No 2: Event for Week 28 Day 6

715am: Already waiting outside the laboratory of Mt A for my Glucose test. Today I am alone fighting this battle on my own...

8am: Given the bottle to contain my urine for Round 1.

812am: Completed Blood & Urine Test for Round 1 and drank the super duper yucky Orange Drink!



(At this moment, I vowed that THIS WILL BE MY LAST PREGNANCY!)

915am: Completed Blood & Urine Test for Round 2.



1015am: Completed Blood & Urine Test for Round 3. This last one was really painful! The entire area swelled up. Sob Sob...



1115am: Finished my routine checkup with Dr Ho. Ash is doing well at about 1.4kg now. She has turned but to be safe, we will still be opting for C-section... Now still waiting for the outcome of my Glucose test...

1145am: Nurse announced that I HAVE PASSED MY GLUCOSE TEST!!! I almost couldnt believe my ears! Never did I expect it!!! Praise the Lord for his blessings.

Pearl River @ Suntec

After the Sesame Street show, we headed to Pearl River @ Suntec for buffet lunch.

The restaurant was really crowded but the food made the wait worth it!

At the reception area…





And when we finally got our table, we are only left with 30 mins to place our last order…




End result was… over ordering of food and our 3 guys below had “willingly” offered their stomach to house the excess!

Sesame Street LIVE – When Elmo Grows Up

The Mummies and Kiddo had a date with Sesame Street @ Indoor Stadium over the September holidays. So happy that we had the opportunity to be up close and personal with Elmo and gang!

Cakes from Daddy & Me

It is Mummy’s birthday and I asked Daddy if I can decorate a cake as a present for her… of course he agreed lor… heehee

My little Smartie!

Because of the possibility of relocation some months back, Daddy started teaching Kaeden 3-letters phonics under my request. However, we only managed to complete the 'A' out of the 'E', 'I', 'O' and 'U'.

This morning as we were relaxing on the sofa after breakfast, I asked Kaeden if he knows how to read the below words... As expected, he replied 'No' but he attempted it nonetheless.



He started with sounding out 'F' and pronouncing the word 'un', together he read them as Fun...

Followed by sounding out 'B' and pronouncing the word 'ox', together he read them as Box...

Mummy, its Fun Box!

So so proud of my little boy understanding the concept of 3-letters phonics even though we have not covered anything on 'O' and 'U' yet.

That is the best birthday present for me this morning :)

Jurong Hilltop

We brought Mummy up to ulu Hilltop for yummy teppanyaki *drool*




It was only 6+pm when we arrived yet the restaurant was already swarmed with people! Thankfully, we still managed to get seats.

While waiting for the food to be served, Daddy and I kept ourselves entertained with games…

Sweet Brother

Walker was fixing up the rocker that we bought last weekend for Ash to ensure that everything is functioning

Both of us were trying to be tactful when we told Kaeden that this rocker is for Ash in case he might be jealous… Guess we were overly sensitive as his response surprised us.

“Mummy, are you sure this rocker is safe for 妹妹 to use? It’s so shaky”! He offered to test it himself by first meddling with it and finally sitting on it.




What touched us most was Kaeden is never someone to try out new things that seems dangerous to him. Usually he will need some encouragement before making his first step yet because of his little sister, he never hesitates.

We are confident that he will make a good brother to Ash :)
