The New Year 2006 is just a few days away and we are looking forward to it as this year holds a special meaning to us – the birth of our baby.
Last visit to Dr Ho has put me on an “anxiety mode” for quite some time. I was constantly worrying about the outcome of the Triple Test results and each time my handphone, bearing numbers that resemble that of Mt Alvernia, rings, my heart skip a beat. Really glad that we did not receive any call from the nurse as this means that everything is fine!
Today, it’s a BIG DAY for us as we are finally able to know the baby’s gender after such a long…..time! However, as we will also be doing a Detailed Scan on the baby to check on its different organs, this visit seems like another heart stopping one to me.
The scan took about half an hour to complete and we managed to have quite a good look at our baby. Dr Ho has confirmed that our Champion is a BOY!!! Everything looks fine and is within the acceptable range. We have decided to name our baby boy, Kaeden, meaning “Companion” in Arabic Origin.
Daddy was so happy on getting a baby boy as he finally has someone to play rough with. After lunch, we made our way down to Kaki Bukit area to shop for a “Sport Car” for little Kaeden. Over at the shop, they have a wide selection of strollers and the best thing is, they are currently having sale!!! After trying and meddling around with the countless brands, we have decided on a bright red Macclaren Techno XT for him. This will be our belated Christmas present to him and we really hope that he will like it.
