Ash's 1st Week at GraceHouse

It has been a week since Ash started school. Other than some whining on the 1st day of school and crying on the 1st day of taking school bus, my little girl is doing so much better than expected.

What a relief!

Army Roadshow

The Army conducted a roadshow at Civic Plaza, Takashimaya to showcase their peacekeeping effort in Afghanistan for the past couple of years.

Hubby took this opportunity to share with Kaeden the 'other' side of the world that was not known to him and am glad that he shown interest in it.

Staycation @ Hotel Equarius

Our last weekend’s staycation at RWS to celebrate my birthday was indeed a good break from our usual routine.

The kids wasted no time in checking out the huge and beautiful room at Equarius Hotel. A different sight compared to all the hotels we have stayed before in the United States…

It didn't take them long before they started asking about the swimming pool and so…off we went in search for it!

The pool was a short walk away from the hotel, co-shared with the beach villa. Nothing fanciful but good enough to keep the kids happy.

  

And then we had a late dinner at Seafood Republic before retiring for the night…

A sweet surprise from the hotel! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and memorable… We will definitely come back again J

End of Term 3 in JG for Ash

Ashlyn has graduated from Term 3 JG Bilingual PlayClub!

From a timid girl who hid behind Daddy's back to one who can now walk confidently up to the teachers when her name is being called... We are so proud of you!

Happy Teacher's Day

Couldn't recall from which year onward did Teacher’s Day changed its date from 1^st September to 1^st Friday of September. Never-the-less, it’s still a time for us to show our appreciation to the teachers for their hard work.

Kaeden told that school teachers aren't allow to receive gift from students. Shall put in more effort to hand made/bake them next year.

Daddy's birthday happened to fall on Kaeden's mini test week and we decided to make do with just a simple dinner at home instead...

Over the last few days, I have been actively googling for the 'perfect' cake for him... so many different types and all of them looked so delish! Little did I expect... the ideal cake to my hubby... was Pandan Waffles!

Well... despite the initial shock,  I did my best to fulfill the birthday boy's wish. Three layers of waffles with peanut butter, kaya and butter fillings! All for himself...

He is Growing!

I used to worry how little he eats but today... my little boy need 1.5 plates of rice to be full!
