The BIG ONE...

I'm ONE today!!!

One year old..

It had been an exciting 12 months for me... so many things to learn... so many things to explore...

Daddy & Mummy wanted to do something special for me thus they chose to celebrate my BIG day with me in Disneyland!

It is another trip on the MTR, going towards Lantau Island direction again. We took a very cute Mickey Mouse train to the Disneyland station...

We spent almost the whole day there, taking plenty of rides, going round the park and watching the parade!!! So much fun!!!

On the way back to the hotel, Mummy got a tiny of cake for me. Birthday mah... so must make a wish and blow candle lor...

Ngong Ping 360

Dim Sum! What is a trip to HK without trying their famous delicacy? This restaurant that we are searching high and low for is recommended by mummies in the forum as well as the virtual tourist site… Lian Heung Tea House.

Looking at my Mummy’s weird facial expression, I guess the food ain’t that fantastic after all…

We intended to take the Ngong Ping 360 cable car which is located a distance away from Tung Cong MTR. However, upon exiting from the station, Mummy got attracted by an outlet shopping mall next to it. We ended up shopping there for a couple of hours and having our lunch there.

We only managed to reach the cable car station at 3 plus in the afternoon… haha… better than not going at all right?

The journey took about 30 to 45 mins each way and the view from above was spectacular!

All the way up to The Peak

We are going up to The Peak today. Before we set off, we had our breakfast at one of the Cha Chan Ting (Tea house) along the way.

We took the MTR to Central station. To Daddy’s horror, the way to the Peak Tram is machiam like obstacle course! He gotta carry Quinny (with me inside) through many flights of stairs and steep slopes all the way up to the Peak Tram station. Wah… so shag manz!

The Peak Tram has a long history since the British rule. The carriage had been upgraded many times to what we have presently. Upon reaching, we went up all the way to the roof top level where the viewing gallery is. The wind was very strong and cooling… so shiok!

Off to Hong Kong

RING...!!! Wakie wakie... Time for fun loh!

When we left the house at 4.30 am in the morning, it started to drizzle. Luckily we managed to get a cab before the rain gets any heavier.

The flight to Hong Kong was about 3 hours plus...

The HK airport is so nice and clean. Haha but we can't say the same for their roads and pedestrian path. Its so bumpy and cramp. My poor Quinny had to tahan so many hard knocks along the way from the MTR to Stanford hotel @ Mongkok.
As the room was not ready, we left our luggage at the reception and went searching for authentic HK food. *Yummy*

We took a short nap in the room after lunch and carried on with our shopping along the famous "Ladies Street" in the evening... Daddy and Mummy tabao-ed dinner back as i was getting alittle cranky liao.
