Jurong Bird Park

Today is Deepavali and our folks decided to spend this public holiday at the Jurong Bird Park...

Breakfast @ Bongo Burgers

Mummy almost 'peng san' when she realised after paying, that a glass of apple juice cost more than the breakfast set!

Before entering the park, this cute wagon caught my attention and I asked Daddy politely for it...

and of course I got it lor, even come with a free wagon man to pull me around!

Birds we saw along the way...

The weather was really hot and humid. After a few hours of walking, my wagon man decided to quit on me so Mummy and I took over.

Short Getaway to Genting...

Daddy surprised us with a trip to Genting on Thursday night... Mummy was shocked because this means we are leaving the very next day!

Nevertheless, we still managed to get everything ready on time and GENTING... here we come!

Settling myself comfortably on my seat after we finished with the Singapore & Malaysia customs...

Reached Ayer Hitam @ 2 am in the morning. I was practically yawning away while my folks were busy gobbling up their dinner!

It was 6am when we finally arrived at Genting First World Bus Terminal... 3 of us almost fainted when we were told that the check in time was 2pm!!!

So we went to eat again lor...

Luckily the theme park opened at 8am... Bet you can imagine how crazy I went with all the rides!

Rio Float...

Mini Train...

Ride de Paris...

Monorail...

Venice Gondola...

Ferris Wheel...

Daddy & Mummy having a peaceful lunch while I was busy catching on my beauty sleep...

Chilling out @ Starbucks while Daddy making arrangement to check-in...

After our afternoon nap, it’s another round of rides again and again and again...

Dinner time!

Project Immunity Booster

I am happy to announce that Kaeden is recovering well from his recent cough and flu. Our next priority would be to boost up his immunity so as to adequately prepare him for school next year.
Some mummies from SMH commented that kids who eat home-cooked meals and supplements tend to have stronger immune system. Am guilty to admit that I am one lazy mummy who prefer eating at restaurant on weekends rather than sweating it out in the kitchen. However, I have decided to make some changes to our lifestyle by ensuring Kaeden has at least 2 meals at home daily on Saturdays and Sundays.

Heehee... very impressed with myself for being able to whip out such sumptuous 1 soup + 2 dishes lunches on both days.

Saturday:

Lotus Root Soup
Omelette with Ham & Onions
Stir-Fry Mushroom with Oyster Sauce

Sunday:

Sweetcorn & Carrot Soup
Steamed Tofu with Minced Pork
Pan-Fried Grouper Fillet with Cream Cheese Sauce

I have also started Kaeden on Nordic DHA Cod Liver Oil by adding it into his milk since he simply refused to have anything to do with liquid served in a spoon... The Childlife Multivitamins & Nordic Berries Multivitamins are on the way as well... Not too sure which form my troublesome baby prefers so thought just get both to try.

Our poor Daddy would then have to eat up whatever Kaeden rejected and that includes that BIG bottle of Scott Emulsion Cod Liver Oil waiting for you...
