Thoughts on a Tuesday

An office environment where there are colleagues you can joke, laugh and have fun with, plays an important role in motivating one to continue working...

Other alternative would be to stash one in a isolated office where its just you and you alone...

Being in an open office filled with people, yet none of them you can click with, is probably one of the biggest torture ever...

Whether will I start on my life as a sahm or not, I know I will definitely have to leave this place once the timing is right. The not-so-nice memories of yester-years are still hovering around me and it has crippled my ability to be happy in a place that was once filled with so many fond memories...

A Night with the Phantom

It was one of those rare night that we had the opportunity to be out on a date and so… despite being sick, I went on as planned!

We had dinner at Rasapura Masters food court, Marina Bay Sands, where the musical was being held.

MBS is beautiful! And huge too! Will definitely re-visit with the kids soon!

P/S: Phantom of the Operate is indeed awesome! No wonder it’s the world's most successful and popular musical, and the longest-running show on Broadway!

e-Learning Week

Its e-learning week and Kaeden has no school on Thursday and Friday (16 & 17 August 2013)

Had no plan to take leave but upon seeing the amount of schoolwork he has, I changed my mind!

2 modules of English, Math and Chinese (about 40 mins per module)
1 module of Art & Health Education (about 40 mins per module)
+ many other non e-learning related homework

Well, at least the boy had fun playing around with my laptop!

USS on National's Day

It wasn’t easy for me to suggest an outing that involved long hours under the big hot sun! But… for my children to have some fun on a public holiday… I DID!

So in order for them to have the maximum hour of play, we decided to save time and have our breakfast on-the-go…

And off we started our day at Singapore’s very own Universal Studios!

As expected, it was super crowded that day hence we could only managed a couple of rides together. One of which was Ash’s fav, King Julien’s Beach Party-Go-Round.

Ash and I wandered off to the air-conditioned ‘attractions’ of the park (aka as shopping) while the boys were busy conquering roller coasters and transformers. Wise choice right?

We decided to call it a day when it started to drizzle at about 4 plus much to Kaeden’ s dismay. Don’t think I wanna go through another 2 hours of waiting in the rain for the boys to complete their ride!

Well, for that, I am thankful for a shop called “Candylicious”! At least it got both the kids happy again before we said our goodbyes to Sentosa. Adios!

Mum's 62nd Birthday

We celebrated mum 62nd birthday with a simple lunch at Paradise Inn, Junction 10.

The kids were so happy that Ah gong, for once, agreed to come with us.

Heehee... Grandma must had a super HAPPY birthday with both her grand kids finally back! She could hardly keep her mouth close from smiling the entire time...

DLSS National Day Observance Ceremony cum Sports Meet 2013

Kaeden invited me to his school’s Sport Meet cum National Day Observance Ceremony held on 7th August 2013. Despite having something on that day, I still went ahead and took leave! (Son, appreciate ok?)

Since it was still early when Daddy dropped us off in school,  Kaeden took the opportunity to bring me for a short tour around his school’s premises before joining the rest of his classmates at the courtyard.

After the parade and ceremony which took about 20 minutes, we proceeded towards the field to kick start the sports meet for the lower primary.

My little boy looking all serious about it!

And the 2nd place for the Primary One’s game goes to Paul House, Red Team! Yeah!

Lesson at the Beach

Woohoo! The weather was fabulous today, totally perfect for spending a morning out on the beach!

The children settled themselves on the picnic mat and started snacking while waiting eagerly for the teacher to start the lesson.

And then... something wobbly caught my eyes! Water Bombs!!! OMG! How could I resist playing with it?!

It was soooo fun! What a pity that Ash took no interest in it! Even the sand and sea failed to entice her...

Except maybe for... Bubbles!

We ended the lesson singing our usual "Goodbye' song followed by hugs and kisses!
