Gathering with Old Friends

We will be having Dim Sum @ Prima Tower with Uncle Alvin/Auntie Serena and Uncle Gee/Auntie Selene/Baby Kaijie. It has been such a long time since the adults met ever since we, the little ones arrived on Planet Earth… According to Mummy, those were really fun days of catching midnight movies and mahjong on Friday nights!

Beautiful views from the top of the revolving restaurant

Learning my As and Bs...

The 3 of us went shopping at Fairprice Finest after JG class yesterday. Mummy came across a set of alphabet cookie cutters and decided to try a fun way of reinforcing what I learnt in GH…

My 1st week of School

Mummy’s recollection of my first week of school...

Day 1:

1st day of school was a complete mess with a combination of crying children, concerned parents crowding around and teachers trying to keep everyone in order...
Mummy was with me throughout the entire lesson as I refused to let her go.

Day 2:

Most parents were advised to leave the classroom on the 2nd day so as to let the teachers and children to get to know each other. Mummy, together with a few aunties was watching us from inside the chapel. I cried for a short while but stopped when breakfast was served... Amidst my sobbing, I still managed to walk up and tell teacher that the porridge is hot!

Day 3:

Mummy sent me into the classroom and left... She came back with Grandma later and saw that Teacher Doris was helping me with my shoes. She felt relieved to see me smiling away...

Day 4:

I was the first to reach my class this morning so Teacher Doris brought me to the playground to distract me while Mummy sneaked away. She almost cried when she heard me crying and shouting for her at the lift lobby but was glad to see me at ease with my teachers and classmates when she came by to fetch me home.

Day 5:

Daddy was with us today! As usual, I started wailing away when both of them left but stopped after awhile...

***************

Getting ready for school in my new uniform...

Too early @ 7.45am so we hung around downstairs at the lobby waiting area...

Happily reading a book and eating my bread...

More pictures of my classroom...

Oh... did I mention my school got a super duper BIG playground! My favourite!

After taking a term off from JG, we are finally going back there again!

At first, Mummy was alittle hesistant about me having to attend Saturday class after a whole week of school. However, upon seeing how happy i was in class today, she knew she has made the right decision.

As usual... Daddy and me in class...

Mummy was eating away at her favourite Roti Prata Shop down the road!

Counting down to the New Year!

The 3 of us were going to spend the last day of 2008 at a very special place – Hotel Intercontinental, which is where my parents held their wedding 5 years back.

Fond memories…

Checking out the views from the hotel room… will we be able to see fireworks from the countdown party tonight?

Next on the list would be prowling on the bed and more phototaking!

Bathtub! Can’t wait to jump in!

We left the room and headed out to Bugis Junction in search of our dinner. While Mummy was busy shopping, we sneaked back into the hotel room and…

ROMANTIC right? Mummy was so-the-very touched lor!

Our ta-baoed dinner which comprised of Daddy & Mummy all-time favourite food…

We spent our last few hours of 2008 having dessert at this newly opened Japanese Coffee House...

And lastly… HAPPY 2009 TO ALL!
