Grace Montessori's Art Show

Drove the kids to town for dinner before heading off to the art show organised by Ash's school. It was a wonderful evening spent with them, something different from our usual routine...

Kaeden got really excited about visiting Grace Montessori. If I didn't remember wrongly, I think its his first visit to his sister's school!

The kids art work were displayed at every corner of their classroom and its such a pretty sight! Heehee I must admit they are quite innovative wor... Love how they done up the flowers from Ash's painting :)

Finale trip to Portland

Our original plan was to bring the kids to Disneyland for our finale trip in the United States but due to some work issues, Daddy couldn't afford being away for so long hence we settled for somewhere near instead... Portland!

We took the earliest flight out from Boise and headed straight for breakfast at "the Waffle Window" upon arrival.

The food was still as good, if not better, from our previous visit here. Yumilicious!

Heehee and who can guess where we headed off to right after breakfast? To the outlet for shopping lor! And the rest is history......

Mr Limping

Not too sure what exactly happened the previous night but Kaeden woke up with a swollen ankle and started walking with a limp. Since I am not well-versed in this area of 'sickness', we decided to let the doctors at the UCC take a look.

They ordered an X-Ray for him...

I am so thankful that it wasn't anything serious. No sign of fracture/crack, most probably just a sprain which should get better in another few more days.

Meanwhile, he would have to keep this pressure bandage on for a couple of days (which I think he loves it)! Haha

 

Beautiful Saturday's evening

I was in the garage packing when the two kiddos came asking if they could go outside and play. Such beautiful weather, how could I say no?

Out with the kids ALONE!

Its the 2nd weekend with Daddy away from home *sad* Instead of staying at home (like last week), we decided to drive out to town for some shopping and lunch!

As per Kaeden's request, we made a stopover at his all-time fav store... "Dollar Tree", where everything is $1... and yet we came out $20 poorer!

Then its 走走逛逛 at Walmart...

before we stuff ourselves silly @ Wingers!

Time indeed passed faster being out shopping with the kids... but hor I think alot of my brain cells have also been killed in the process! HA HA really is not easy!

Spring Concert MHAFB Primary School

It was a wonderful evening spent watching Kaeden perform at the Base School's annual Spring Concert and I am so glad that Daddy was able to make it :)

Upon reaching the school, Kaeden headed straight for his classroom, while we made our way towards the gym where the concert was held. After fidgeting on my lap for awhile, Ashlyn concluded that she preferred the ground and went off making herself comfortable!

The concert was a simple affair, nothing fanciful or elaborate yet watching my little boy standing there, enjoying every moment of it just made my night.

Lastly, we managed to catch hold of Mrs Johnson, Kaeden's teacher for a picture together. I believe it will be a memory worth capturing... "Kaeden's adventure in Mountain Home Air Force Base Primary School, Idaho"

Mystery SOLVED

I have finally solved the mystery to HOW Ashlyn got out from her bed with no sound at all! Haha time to upgrade her to a proper bed!

Table Manners

I felt guilty for being so relax about table manners whenever Daddy is not around. Doesn't reflect well on us right? *tsk tsk tsk*

Have decided that it is a MUST to reinforce this on a daily basis starting from NOW! I am proud that Kaeden is doing good. Way to go son!

Ash's Learning Journey

I have been doing quite abit of work with Ash over the past few weeks and she enjoyed it alot. Felt really bad that I didn't invest more time teaching her. Hope that she won't have any problem catching up when we are back in Singapore.

We have received news from Ms Evelyn that she has a slot for Ash in Grace House from Term 4 onward.  Praise the Lord for that! Will drop her an email upon our return to see if she has a vacancy for Term 3 :) Heehee... meanwhile, my little girl will start her weekend classes in JG first. I know she will definitely enjoy it!

Our new home back in Singapore

Some years back when this was first launched, we missed it.

Didn't expect years later... which is NOW (11 April 2013), we are officially the proud owner of this development :)

Cozy on the Couch

Its one of those rare nights where both of them can share a couch nicely with no complaints. Hmmm... I wonder why they lurvvvvve fighting for it when there are two of the same one in the living room! Fun, perhaps?
