Not wanting to just leave it, we dragged him to the 24H clinic at Mt A. The doctor diagnosed it as normal viral cough and should go away in the next day or so. We left after being prescribed with cough syrup and fever medicine. It was 130am by the time we reached home.
His persistent cough in the night woke me up. I was so tempted to just sleep it off but something told me its not right. Went over to check on him and realized his breathing was labored. It's wasn't normal and Daddy agreed with me.
Made another trip to Mt A again and the very same doctor who saw us last night confirmed that he is wheezing NOW! He ordered a nebulizer on him immediately...
The doctor didn't even bother to wait for Kaeden to finish his neb to review him again. Why? Because he needed to 下班了! How ethical!

Anyway, we rejected the clinic's offer to be assigned to another doctor and decided to sought Dr Tan's opinion instead.
After hours of waiting (as usual), our 'harvest' for the day + appointment to review again on Saturday...
Isn't it scary just thinking about it? Was it a wrong diagnosis from the 1st doctor? Or did a normal cough simple magnified itself into such a serious condition over a mere few hours? Couldn't imagine the consequences if I had let sleepiness overcame me, continued to sleep and just left for work when the alarm rang!
