BlackBall 黑丸嫩仙草

Came across this dessert store at 112 Katong some weeks back and made a mental note to ‘must try’ when Walker’s back.

Finally got a chance to try their Black Ball Signature which comprised of Herbal Jelly, Tapioca/Pumpkin/Taro Ball, Red Bean and Ice. It’s refreshing but seemed like only Ash & I took a fancy to it...

Change in status

It has been exactly a week since I started work back in NUS. After being a full time caregiver to the kids for a good 2 years, I definitely need some time getting used to life away from them.

As of now, I just want to treasure every moment of my evenings and weekends with the children. I know somehow... things will work its way out with His guidance.

Kaeden developed a corn in between his 1st/2nd toes and he was complaining about the discomfort. Hence, I bought a box of corn plaster from the pharmacy, hoping to provide some pressure relief for him...

And so... this little girl, upon seeing Big Brother has a plaster on his feet... she insisted on having one too!

Breakfast with the kids

Instead of having our usual eat-at-home breakfast, I brought the kids out... hopped onto their fav LRT and headed to McDonald's!

It was a crowded morning at the restaurant with the release of the Frog Prince Hello Kitty... Thankfully, both of them were on their best-est behaviour... waiting patiently at their seats while I went off to get food.

Hopefully we will still be able to do once in awhile on a weekday after I start work...

Sweet Ash

Ash surprised me by being the sweetest baby throughout our long wait for Kaeden's 'never-ending' swim lesson with Uncle Yeo.

Not only did she not fuss, she was actually enjoying herself!

She did! Don't you think so? Heehee
