Graduated from Kindergarten

Its the end of the school year here in the United States and Kaeden has officially completed his Kindergarten education.

CH had a graduation ceremony last Thursday at the First Congregational Church in MH and Kaeden was all excited about it!

Heehee... really thankful that he made it back to MH safely :) Now I can't wait to transform our second Flexa into a Princess castle for Ash whenever she is ready!

Mother's Day Tea @ CH

I attended a Mother's Day tea organised by CH and although it was just a simple session with the kids singing us a song, it warmed my heart a lot.

My little boy then served me some food and he specially picked the non chocolate-ty one for me knowing that I am not feeling well :) 

Heehee not forgetting my Mother's Day presents from Kaeden. Such pretty drawings right?

Ashlyn's toys

While sorting out Ashlyn's stuff @ her play corner, I realized the toys she plays with are so educational... puzzles, musical toys, sorting blocks and books!

Hmm... is it a 'girl thing' or am I gonna have a studious girl in-the making?

One of her latest favorite toy that she chosen it herself last Saturday :)

The day Kaeden turned 6!

We didn't have a party for Kaeden as Daddy was still away the weekend before his birthday. Felt kind of bad as I knew he would love to have one. Nevertheless, we are glad he had fun on his birthday.

Stuff we prepared for the celebration in Children's House...

Our curious little Ash who wouldn't stop peeking... 

...she eventually made her way into the classroom, found a chair and sat down! 

Kaeden then went through the Montessori's way of birthday celebration where he carried the globe and walked round the sun (which is the candle in the center of the circle) while children sang: 

"The earth goes around the sun X3... and he is 1... (repeat) and he is 2... 3... 4... 5... 6!"

Lunch @ Winger's, under the special request of our birthday boy... 

and then its to Walmart where he we bought him the present he so badly wanted :)

We ended the day with a simple dinner at home and another round of cake-cutting.

Farewell

The Buccaneers have this tradition of walking the plank (a.k.a jumping into the water) for newcomers joining us and also for those leaving the big family.

Yesterday was a farewell session for the May batch of Buccaneers heading home...

Just when we were getting ready to go out, Ash signaled that she wanted some of her pictures taken...

Kaeden joined in too... 

And as usual... the kids were having fun while the adults were being thrown into the water one after another!

 At the end of the day, its hard to find any of the Buccaneers dry... except US!
