Love in any Language

Alas... Grace House Graduation cum Year-End Concert!!!

I have been looking forward to this day for the longest time and was all excited to show my parents the item that I would be performing on stage...

The finale song is really meaningful and touches Mummy's heart... "no matter where you are or who you are, love can be communicated in any way which is universally understood".

Daddy & me with my “porcupine” hairstyle...

We love because he first loved us.

Baby No 2: Week 35 Day 6

Its a happy happy day!

Lil Ash has finally passed the 2kg 'safety' mark. She is weighing approximately 2.568kg now... The Strep B test results came back alright too :)

Now that all these worrying stuff are sort of settled... we can look forward to welcoming the arrival of our baby girl.

Praying that everything will be smooth on that big day and Ash will be healthy at birth.

14 more days to go....

Serious @ Work

Learning Mathematics

Mummy read from the forum that the concept of addition is actually counting forward. Although she has been pleased with my knowledge of basic mathematics so far, she suspected that most of my answers are based on my memory and not really understanding...

She started me with some fun games involving numbers and true enough... I gave her a clueless smile most of the time. But well... given my smartie brain, I got it within a week and now I can answer confidently whatever sums my folks post to me :)

Worksheet

I was absent from school for quite some time since the last round I fell sick. I volunteered to finish up all the worksheet that I have missed out in class... Mummy simply love my serious, concentrating expression!

Our 13th year together

For the past weeks, I have been so busy with the stuff in the office that it almost slipped my mind of this special day.

Its really sweet of my boys to appear at my office to surprise me with a bouquet of flowers! Can't describe how happy I was to see them after slogging away half a day in the office on a weekend!

We had my favorite Japanese food @ Waraku. Its a pity that I didn't have much of an appetite lately but still, I enjoyed myself to the fullest in their company.

Though we have been together for so many years, it still feel like yesterday that we have met. Thanks for making the effort to keep our sparks alive. Happy Anniversary to you!

Baby No 2: Week 33 Day 6

Did a couple of test at Dr Ho's today... Blood Count, Growth Scan & Strep B.

Sigh... was told that I am slightly anaemia with my blood count at 10.2 (normal one should be about 11 to 15)

Thankfully the Growth Scan showed that Ash is healthy although her weight is slightly on the small side at 1.946kg.

Dr Ho proposed the c-section to be scheduled on 24 Nov 2010. Although we were hoping for an earlier date but since there is a possibility that Ash's lungs may not be fully matured by then, we decided against it.

Collected the hospital admission letter, blood test results as well as confirmed the room for the stay. Pending the outcome of the Strep B test which should be ready in another few days time *keeping my fingers crossed*

Come to think of it... we are only left with 28 days to seeing our little girl!

Friends...

*Taken at Jerome's 1st birthday party

Dilemma

Have I been thinking too much?

Nothing has been confirmed yet but why do my heart feel so unsettled?

It has been our dream for so long yet I couldn't help worrying the consequences it may have on Kaeden's future... He is doing so well now, far above my expectation for his age... I don't have the confident to be a good teacher to him...

If only this opportunity came a few years earlier...

God, I pray to you for wisdom, for guidance... that no matter what happened, you will always be there for us, to give me strength as the support for my family... Amen

Baby No 2: Week 31 Day 6

Cough... cough... cough...

I have been coughing for the past week and its doesn't seems to be getting any better. Decided to abandon my 'no medicine' policy and sought Dr Ho for help...

My loots for the day... that is really ALOT of medicine :( and not to mention... the shocking $90+ bill that came along with it!

Some updates:

Ash is now 1.829kg at Week 31 Day 6. As usual Dr Ho didn't say much except nod and smile = everything is ok lor! We have requested to have the c-section scheduled on Week 37+ instead so as to minimise any chance of waterbag leak/burst etc... Tentative date should be 19 Nov 2010!

Counting down to seeing our little Princess!
