Time to go home...

14 February 2010

Sigh... time flies and its the end of our 东京之旅...

We began our morning with a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel cafe which served a wide spread of yummy food!

And then its playground time at the Kid’s Corner...

Our last minute shopping at IKSPIARI where Mummy bought more food and toys for me!

Passports to the Land and the Sea…

My first time on board the Mickey Mouse Cruiser and Monorail…

Photo taking with Donald Duck, Goofy & Pooh Bear @ DisneyLand

Some of the cute stuff that we bought…

Food that we couldn’t resist eating no matter how full we were!

Stay tune for Part 2 @ DisneySea...

Part 2 - Happiest Place on Earth

13 February 2010

It’s was a gloomy Saturday which started with slight snow in the morning and rain for the rest of the day…

The weather was really cold and in my Mummy’s opinion… not suitable for outdoor activities!

We did make a trip to DisneySea but didn’t stay long though… What a pity!

Picturesque view that greeted us at the main entrance…

We took a ride on the boat to get across to the other side of the park…

Heading towards the “Under the Sea” attraction which is perhaps the only indoor part of the entire park.

The fruitful part of the entire visit to DisneySea… A picture with Mickey Mouse!

It was a night for reunion dinner back at Singapore so we decided to have one for ourselves. Mummy almost fainted when I insisted on having McDonalds!

Our family reunion dinner in Japan!

Mount Fuji & Hakone

11 February 2010

We have booked a day trip with JTB for a tour around the Mount Fuji & Hakone area...

Our pick up from the hotel was really early at 8.05am!

Nonetheless, both Daddy & I were super excited about this trip!

After about 1.5 hours drive from Tokyo, we arrived at the Fuji Visitor Center for a stopover… Nature, culture and artwork concerning Mt. Fuji are on display at the information center.

Oh... and then I saw SNOW... words could hardly describe the enthusiasm I felt!

As the weather was very foggy, we only managed to go up to the 4th station... Although, it’s a pity we didn’t get to see Mount Fuji that day but it’s really an experience for me! This is also the highest my folks had been to on Mount Fuji.

A peaceful Japanese-style lunch while I was busy catching on my beauty sleep...

After lunch, we headed out to Hakone to take a cruise on Lake Ashi aboard a large sightseeing boat. Still as foggy, we can’t really see too far out but the ferry ride was fun with the chill wind blowing while we enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.

The cruise brought us to the Mount Komagatake Ropeway. We took a ride on the aerial cableway up and down Mount Komagatake for a sweeping view of the celebrated Hakone National Park.
